Sungarden Terrace is both an assisted living community and a memory care facility located in beautiful Lemon Grove, CA, a city known for its year-round beautiful climate. Costs start at around $3,200 per month for the shared or private studio apartments and include all utilities, cleaning and linen service, and laundry service. Sungarden Terrace is pet-friendly, so furry friends are always welcome. The professional 24-hour staff is available to assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents with such needs. The assisted living community features beautiful outdoor sitting areas, landscaped gardens, walking areas and courtyards for relaxing or socializing. The facility also offers many indoor sitting areas, a library, chapel, community rooms and a theater lounge. The activities department creates a full calendar of events to offer something special for every resident. Activities include arts and crafts, fitness classes, music, shuffleboard, scheduled morning walks, bingo, poker, blackjack and bridge. Live musical and comedy entertainment are frequently featured, plus there are scheduled outings for shopping, dining, cultural events and scenic drives. Three healthy meals daily are served restaurant-style with indoor and outdoor dining available, with snacks available between meals. The separate Sungarden Terrace memory care facility is dedicated to serving residents with all forms and levels of dementia. A wide range of specialized activities are offered to help maintain cognition. Music, games, social events and live entertainment help with memory, and spacious, secured outdoor spaces offer residences wide-open places to relax and refresh.
